The young domain forest of 205 ha on the border with Mol and Balen consists of young plantings of both coniferous, deciduous and mixed forest. And there are a lot of summer and winter oaks. It is a lesser-known forest, but no less beautiful for that. You can enjoy the beautiful nature in peace.
The Waaltjesbos owes its name to the arrival of Walloon immigrants who first settled here around the year 1800 in search of a better life.
Follow the nature loop trails as a hike! There is a blue loop of 5.1 km and a red loop of 10.4 km.
