Photo exhibition of Manu Bloemen
One day the Gods found the forbidden suitcase. When they curiously opened it, they saw that it was filled with the most beautiful sand. Immediately the wind rose to punish them and razor-sharp grains lashed their faces. The sand clumped and formed the earth, fierce tears of God of glass descended. Man wanted to reflect in this, as an image of the supreme.
From April you can visit the long-awaited photo exhibition Silica by the Lommel photographer / artist Manu Bloemen. He takes you to a world behind glass where nothing is what it seems. Book your time slot in advance! Do you happen to pass by and would you still like to take a look? If the time slot is free, you can certainly visit the exhibition.
Feel the sand between your toes in the Lommel Sahara, see glassblowers live at work in GlazenHuis, and cycle or hike in Bosland's adventure-packed forests.
