Orienteering walk

Did you know that orienteering was first developed at the end of the 19th century? It all started as a military exercise in Scandinavia. But it wasn’t until more reliable compasses appeared on the market in the 1930s that this sport gained popularity. When orienteering, you follow a route that is not marked on a map. On the way, you pass a number of marked points. And the route in between? You’re free to find your own way!

Tip: you can pick up the map at our tourist information office or download it here.
