Heuvelse Heide: Discover a Hidden Gem in Lommel

Heuvelse Heide in Lommel is no ordinary nature reserve. It is a hidden gem, a hiker’s paradise where your eyes will not be enough. The variety in this area is unparalleled: from fragrant pine forests to rolling heathlands, from shimmering pools to refreshing lakes.

A true experience for all your senses

Start your adventure at Jachthaven De Meerpaal on Boskantstraat. The first path leads you through a fairytale pine forest, where the smell of resin surrounds you. As you walk deeper into the heathland, the landscape gradually changes into dense forests. Walk along the water and imagine yourself in the tropics.
