The heather blooms again! In these nature reserves in Lommel you don’t have to search long before you come across the purple flowers. They form a beautiful backdrop for a walk or bike ride.
Is a small, hidden pearl of heathland with a pond near Lommel-Colonie. You walk 3, 7 or 9 km through sand, heath and pine forests.
Here you walk past breathtaking heath landscapes, a giant butterfly and fairytale play elements. The Butterfly Walk of 2.2 kilometers is accessible by pram and wheelchair. You can also enjoy horseback riding on one of the five routes of the heath.
The pedestrian bridge at the Sahara is the graceful and steel gateway to Blekerheide.
