‘Bosland’ is an extensive area in Hechtel-Eksel, Overpelt and Lommel where children are really welcome.
It is an adventurous realm where children can make discoveries to their heart’s content. The two play-woods in Lommel are particularly laid out for them. You will find one near to the Sahara and one in Kattenbos. Both woods were designed by artist Will Beckers. In the play-woods the children will discover huts, mysterious tunnels, a playground, wooden goals, etc. Everything is made of materials from the wood.
Also out of that, the woods brim over with life. You can walk and cycle endlessly through woods and valleys. The shortest walks are specially made to measure for the youngest children. Cyclists and riders will enjoy the endless extensiveness on the various routes. You can relax on the concealed picnic spots in the glorious peace of the wood or at a cosy outdoor café nearby.
For children ‘Bosland’ is one large wood of adventure: horse around in the play-woods, dig in the largest sandbox of Flanders… Fun is sure! ‘Bosland’ is a synonym for abundant enjoyment in a surprising nature, and every day again a little different.
